Job Requisitions
Option | Description | More Information |
|---|---|---|
Enable Organization Defaults on Create Job Requisition
| Populates organization assignments on the Job Requisition business process according to the staffing model:

Copy Organization Data from Job Requisition to Staffing Transactions
| Select this checkbox to allow Workday to automatically populate organization data (such as Company, Cost Center, and Region) from a job requisition into the associated staffing transaction (Hire, Job Change, or Add Job). Enabling this option ensures data consistency between the requisition and the worker's record. However, be aware that if the requisition is linked to a different position than the one currently held or originally intended, Workday will update the worker’s Position ID to match the requisition. This can result in a change to the worker’s unique position identifier upon completion of the staffing event. |

| The default value for a compensation component frequency unless specified. | |
Disable Create New Compensation Review Statement functionality for Employee on View Compensation Review Statements
| Hides the Create New Statement button on the View Compensation Review Statements view for Employee as Self. | |
Preferred Compensation Review Employee Awards Grid Limit
| Workday limits the number of employees belonging to the same organization hierarchy to display to a Planner during a Shared Participation Compensation Review. Workday uses this option if you set it to greater than zero. Otherwise, Workday uses the Default Compensation Review Employee Awards Grid Limit .

Enable Dynamic Display for Compensation Plan Sections
| If selected, Workday displays only relevant compensation plan sections during the: Propose Compensation Change business process when used as a step on the Change Job business process.

Select the business processes you want to enable defaulting for:
Example: You enable this option for your relevant business processes, including the Change Job (Propose Compensation Change) business process, which you then initiate to propose a compensation change for a worker, Wendy. You update Wendy's grade manually. A compensation eligibility rule is based on the new grade that you selected on the Grade field. Workday applies compensation assignment defaulting based on Wendy's new grade.Change Job (Propose Compensation Change) business process. If you had previously selected this option, Workday now displays the Change Job (Propose Compensation Change) business process as selected and all other business processes as unselected. You can update this setting to select additional business processes or to deselect the default option. | |
Internal Compensation Benchmark Threshold
| Enter the number of employees in outside organizations that a manager must have access to before Workday includes them for internal compensation benchmark calculation.

Enable Eligibility Rule Performance Enhancement for Compensation Plan Profiles
| If selected, Workday stops evaluating compensation plan profiles when it finds the first profile that the employee is eligible for. If an employee isn't eligible for any plan profiles, Workday uses the default plan target.
If not selected, Workday evaluates all plan profiles. If an employee is eligible for only 1 plan profile, Workday uses it.
