Reference: Student Financials Impacts of Academic Period Date Changes
When you change academic period dates, Workday places a charge assessment hold with a
reason of Calendar Date Change on students who have registrations in impacted
academic periods. The holds enable you to review any impacts to Student Financials
data before resuming charge assessments.
To remove the holds and resume charge assessments, run the
Refresh SFS
Based on Calendar Setup Date Change
task. (You can access the task
from the Refresh Financial Aid Based on Configuration Changes
task.) Because this task also removes financial aid holds and flags financial aid
period records for processing, Workday recommends that you coordinate with financial
