Reference: Storage Provider Requirements

When you are ready to synchronize documents between Contract Management and Document Intelligence and a storage system, consider these requirements and expectations for each storage provider:

Box

Requirement	Description
Drive Type(s) Supported	Personal and shared folders.
Permission Requirements The permission levels outlined must apply to all folders that will be part of your sync.	Enable Owner, Co-owner, or Editor access to the folder. Scopes: Read/write all files and folders.
Sync Time per ~5,000 documents (Provider to Contract Management and Document Intelligence)	~20 minutes.
Inactive Sync Pairs	If the sync pair is inactive for 60 days or more, you will need to recreate the sync pair.
Additional Notes	If your Box admin disallows third-party apps that haven't been approved, ensure you approve Contract Management and Document Intelligence in Box first.

Dropbox

Requirement	Description
Drive Type(s) Supported	Personal and shared folders.
Permission Requirements The permission levels outlined must apply to all folders that will be part of your sync.	Enable Edit access for shared folders.
Sync Time per ~5,000 documents (Provider to Contract Management and Document Intelligence)	~10 minutes.

Google Drive

Requirement	Description
Drive Type(s) Supported	Personal and team drives.
Permission Requirements The permission levels outlined must apply to all folders that will be part of your sync.	Personal: You must transfer ownership of all folders and files to the service account. Team: We strongly recommend that you enable Content Manager permissions for the account. You can enable Contributor or Viewer permissions, but those access levels lack privileges such as Delete and Upload, so you might run into issues with actions on our platform that break the sync.
Sync Time per ~5,000 documents (Provider to Contract Management and Document Intelligence)	~15 minutes.
Additional Notes	Refrain from creating a sync pair in Contract Management and Document Intelligence until all files and folders have been transferred to Google Drive. Make sure there are no extra spaces in the Google Drive root folder name.

SharePoint 365

Requirement	Description
Permission Requirements The permission levels outlined must apply to all folders that will be part of your sync.	The user account you authenticate with must be a member though not necessarily an owner of the site you wish to sync from and must be excluded from conditional access controls. Delegated permissions are used, not application permissions. The account must have read/edit access to the root of the SharePoint site. Without this access, the site does not appear in the list of available sites when setting up your sync pair. You don't need to have access to the SharePoint root, which enables access to all SharePoint sites in your organization. You only need access to the root of the SharePoint site you wish to sync from. Scopes: Files.ReadWrite.All offline_access Sites.Read.All User.All
Sync Time per ~5,000 documents (Provider to Contract Management and Document Intelligence)	~1 hour, 10 minutes.
Inactive Sync Pairs	When the sync pair is inactive for 90 days or more, you need to recreate the sync pair.
Additional Notes	Renaming the SharePoint site breaks an active sync. Disconnect the sync first and recreate it when you need to make this change.

OneDrive

Requirement	Description
Permission Requirements The permission levels outlined must apply to all folders that will be part of your sync.	Only Admins of the organization can approve the Contract Management and Document Intelligence app. Delegated permissions are used, not application permissions. This integration only supports setting up sync pairs that target folders in your personal OneDrive. Scopes: Files.ReadWrite.All offline_access Sites.Read.All User.All
Sync Time per ~5,000 documents (Provider to Contract Management and Document Intelligence)	~1 hour.
Inactive Sync Pairs	When the sync pair is inactive for 90 days or more , you need to recreate the sync pair.

When you change the name of a file or a folder in either Contract Management and Document Intelligence or the storage provider, that name change carries over to the other platform. These behaviors apply to the root folder in Contract Management and Document Intelligence but not the storage provider root folder:

End-users can't delete root folders in Contract Management and Document Intelligence

You can rename sync pair roots on Contract Management and Document Intelligence. This doesn't change the name of the folder on the provider side.

You can move sync pair roots on Contract Management and Document Intelligence only, but you can't move sync pair root folders into folders that are part of another sync pair.
