FAQ: Syncing in Contract Management and Document Intelligence
- The Storage section of the 3rd Party Integrations tab in the Admin area shows a message that the provider isn't enabled for my account. What does this mean?
- This section of the3rd Party Integrationstab is currently not in use. To sync with a storage provider, navigate to theStoragetab instead.
- What does the Disabled By Administrator error mean when syncing with my Box account?
- Your Box administrator might have set restrictions for third-party applications in your Box account settings. If you receive this error, contact your Box administrator to request that they allow the Contract Management and Document Intelligence app. See Box's documentation about authorizing or allowing applications for more information. You can use this client ID when allowing the Workday CLM app: 7rwcplrj4804wm8m4qkuuclqw5x93ksh.
- If I edit a synced document, when does the version in Workday update?
- We currently don't support new document versions in Workday unless you rename the source file in the storage provider. When you make changes to a synced document in the storage provider and update the file name, the document syncs and updates to the latest version in Contract Management and Document Intelligence. However, when you edit a source document in the storage provider and the file name remains the same, Workday doesn't sync the document and update to the latest version.
- Why can't I find the Google Drive folder that I want to sync when trying to create my sync pair in Workday CLM?
- You can only create a sync pair with shared folders that are located in the My Drive folder of the Google account that you use to authenticate the sync pair.If a folder is located in your My Drive on Google Drive, it displays in thePersonalContract Management and Document Intelligence folder when you're prompted to select a Google Drive folder to sync. When you have multiple shared folders that you want to sync to, but only want to create 1 sync pair, you can create a subfolder in your My Drive, place the shared folders in it, and then sync to the subfolder.Alternatively, you can also set up separate sync pairs for each shared folder that you want to sync with Contract Management and Document Intelligence. For information on granting access to folders, see Set Up Document Synchronization with EviSync.
