Steps: Process Open Admissions Applications
When you create applications for programs of study that are Fast Path-enabled and the applications don't get flagged for review, Workday:
- Admits the applicant and sets the Admission Decision to Admit.
- Sets the prospect stage to Student.
- Publishes the admissions decision, setting the Decision Status to Publicly Available.
- Sends any engagement items the student is eligible for.
You can record additional information for the applicant, such as application fees, transcripts, and test scores. If you've configured Fast Path application reviews, you can take action on flagged applications.
Applications that undergo Fast Path admissions can have completion requirements, but Workday doesn't verify that the applications meet the requirements. You can also complete assessments for these applications.
To quality for Fast Path processing, all programs of study on an application must be Fast Path-enabled. When any of the programs of study are not Fast Path-enabled, the application undergoes selective admissions.
