FAQ: Sensitive Comments

How do I enable sensitive comment platform monitoring?
Administrators can enable or disable the ability to see whether a comment is sensitive or not within the platform.
  1. Navigate to
    Administration
    .
  2. Select
    Data Settings
    .
  3. Select the
    Sensitive Comments
    tab.
  4. Click the
    Sensitive Comments On
    icon
How do I grant access to sensitive comments?
The permissions you set in access control groups affects the highlighting of sensitive comments on manager dashboards. This permission doesn't disallow access to sensitive comments, but refers to the ability for access control groups to see these comments as marked as sensitive.
With this permission turned off, managers can still view comments with sensitive content, but they'll display as all other comments.
To grant access:
  1. Navigate to
    Administration
    .
  2. Select
    Access Control
    .
  3. To grant access to view sensitive comments, click
    Comments
    and select from these options:
    • Read sensitive comments
      : Highlights sensitive comments. When disabled, the comments still display on the dashboard but not highlighted as sensitive.
    • Mark sensitive comments
      : Ability to mark or unmark comments as sensitive.
  4. (Optional) To enable users (for groups with access to view
    All employees
    ) to modify sensitive keywords:
    1. Navigate to
      Administration

    2. Select
      Modify Sensitive comments
      .
  5. (Optional) To enable users (only for groups with access to view
    All employees
    ) to receive notification of new sensitive comments:
    1. Navigate to
      Notifications

    2. Select
      Receive sensitive comment notifications

How do I add or edit monitored words?
Concept names are noneditable. However, you can add or remove monitored words in each concept by editing each translation.
  1. Navigate to
    Administration
    .
  2. Click
    Data Settings
    .
  3. Click
    Sensitive Comments
    .
  4. Click the drop-down arrow on the concept to edit, enabling you to add keywords, variations, and synonyms.
  5. (Optional) Click the icon beside default monitored words to remove a word.
  6. (Optional) Create a new word in the
    Monitored words
    box and select the target language from the
    Target language
    drop-down list.
When you add monitored words to an existing concept, WPEV recommends adding the stem word as the monitored word, since WPEV automatically detects variations of the word. WPEV recommends that you add other versions of keywords to ensure detection if you're unsure of sensitive keyword stems.
How do I add custom concepts and monitored words?
  1. Navigate to
    Administration

  4. Add a concept name. Example
    money laundering
    .
  5. Add monitored words to the
    Monitored words
    box.
  6. Select a target language from the
    Target language
    drop-down list for each word that you add.
How do I filter comments based on sentiment?
Navigate to the
Comments
section. You can filter comments by NPS category, which includes detractor, passive, and promoter scores. In addition to the comment, you can also view the score associated with the specific comment.
