We publish Release Notes each week, on Wednesdays and Fridays evenings (PT). We’ll post any exceptions to the schedule here.

July 4th Publication Schedule Changes for Release Center (2026-06-29) - Workday celebrates American Independence Day and has an altered release note publishing schedule for the week of June 29, 2026:

• We'll publish Release Notes to the Release Center on Wednesday, July 1 and Thursday, July 2. We won't have a publication on Friday, July 3.

• We'll deliver the What's New in Workday report to your tenant on Friday, July 3 as usual.

   

Juneteenth Publication Schedule Changes for Release Center (2026-06-15) - Workday celebrates the Juneteenth holiday and has an altered release note publishing schedule for the week of June 15, 2026:

• We'll publish Release Notes to the Release Center on Wednesday, June 17. We won't have a publication on Friday, June 19.

• We'll deliver the What's New in Workday report to your tenant on Friday, June 19 as usual.

   

Memorial Day Publication Schedule Changes for Release Center (2026-05-18) - Workday celebrates the U.S. Memorial Day holiday and has an altered release note publishing schedule for the week of May 18, 2026:

• We'll publish Release Notes to the Release Center on Wednesday, May 20 and Thursday, May 21. We won't have a publication on Friday, May 22.
• We'll deliver the What's New in Workday report to your tenant on Friday, May 22 as usual.

New Workday AI Guide!  (Delivery Date: 2026/02/13) - We deliver a new AI guide that consolidates information about Workday AI agents, data contributions, and Sana Features so that you can find information about configuration, how to use AI agents,  and other ways to help your users become more efficient.

Payroll Book Translations (Delivery Date: 2026/04/07) - For all translated Payroll books, you'll now find each country represented by section within the main Payroll book for each language, instead of separate, country-specific books. This new format now aligns with the English version of the Payroll book. Tip: Update your links from the country-specific translated books to the consolidated Payroll book for your language.

2025R2 Adminstrator Guide Translations: (Delivery Date: 2026-03-10) We now translate the Administrator Guides in all 11 languages for the 2025R2 release, adding 2 new languages: Chinese (Traditional) and Dutch.
