Simplified Feedback for AI-Generated Answers (Delivery Date: 2025-11-04)
We've removed the answer evaluation questions and URL request from the feedback form for AI-generated answers on the Workday Documentation site. When you give feedback, you now fill in your answer in a single text box.

New Multi-Select Product Filters for Workday Documentation! (Delivery Date: 2025-09-09)
We now deliver multiselect functionality for product facets when filtering release notes and other Workday Documentation. You can now filter search results by one or more Product Line and further refine results by selecting multiple Product Areas within a product line. Learn more here.
Documentation for Flowise and Contract Management Applications (Delivery Date: 2025-09-05)
Documentation is now available for these new products:
- FlowiseAI Documentation site: Learn how to visually construct AI and autonomous systems. Using a modular approach to building AI applications, your team can build basic workflows up to complex AI applications. The platform includes multiagent systems, chat interfaces, and human-in-the-loop features.
- Contract Management and Document Intelligence Help Center: Learn how to use AI to unify and analyze your contracts. You can now use AI to manage contracts fully, automate processes, and extract information that is stored across different file management systems.
Video Playback Improvements (Delivery Date: 2025-07-15)
You can now turn on Closed Captioning and adjust the playback speed while watching videos on the Home Page of the Workday Documentation site.
Workday Documentation and Release Center Changes (Delivery Date: 2025-07-07)
New Look and Feel for Workday Documentation Site
The Workday Documentation site at doc.workday.com got a fresh, new look on the evening of July 7, PST.
What you can expect:
- An Engaging New Home Page: A central spot for important Workday Documentation news, Quicklinks to main resources, and helpful videos.
- New AI Generative Search: The new optional search experience summarizes results for you, sourcing only from Workday’s official product documentation and release notes. Available to logged-in users only.
- Enhanced Menu Navigation: Our refined menu offers quicker, more intuitive access to the Workday Documentation you and your users need.
- Improved Guides and Help Center pages: Accessing specific guides and product help centers is more straightforward with our redesigned landing pages.
Impact to you: Any bookmarks to the existing Workday Administrator Guide landing page at doc.workday.com now take you to the new Workday Documentation home page. From there, you can easily access all guides and release notes content through the new menu or the convenient Quicklinks section.
There should be no impact to any other existing links or browser bookmarks you might have. If you do have issues, contact us at doc.feedback@workday.com.
Workday Payroll Administration Guide Enhancement (Delivery Date: 2025-05-29)
We consolidate the individual U.S., Canada, UK, France, and Australia guides into a single Payroll guide on June 3, 2025. The consolidated Payroll guide features core Payroll content applicable to all countries, followed by country-specific sections. We distinguish country-specific content with ISO codes and country names.
Note: This change impacts the URLs of previously published topics. We’ve added redirects from the old URLs to the correct topics. The redirects are temporary, however, and we recommend that you update your bookmarks as soon as possible.
We’ll publish the translated consolidated Payroll guide in future publications.
Sharing Search Filter URLs and Guides Feedback Updates (Delivery Date: 2025-03-11)
Sharing Search Filter URLs: Workday improves your ability to share URLs for filtered searches in both the Release Center and for Workday Guides. With this update, you can now copy a search filter URL to another application, such as Excel or Slack and retain the filters. Previously, your search filter selections disappeared after copying the URL to other applications.
Note: This improvement requires you to resave your filtered searches in the Release Center and Workday Guides on or after 3/11/25, as we mentioned in the 3/3/25 update.
Example:
- Before the Update: You search for all release notes with the Release Note Type of Feature and the Setup Effort of Automatically Available. You copy the URL of the search results to Slack to share with your colleague. Your colleague clicks the link and sees a list of all release notes. The filters have been lost.
- After the Update: When you share the URL with the search filters, your colleague clicks the link and sees only Feature release notes with a Setup Effort of Automatically Available, as intended.
Guides Feedback Update: We now limit the number of characters to 4000 in the text box for the Was this helpful? Section of Workday Guides documentation.
