Example Steps: Evaluate Residency Status for Student Applicants
This example illustrates how to automate residency status evaluations for student applicants.
Alma Mater University (AMU) offers different tuition rates for in-state residents. To evaluate students’ eligibility for discounted in-state tuition, AMU distributes a questionnaire to ask applicants about their citizenship status and state of residency. Workday automatically maps the residency questionnaire responses of applicants to numerical values, calculating a score that determines their residency statuses.
