Review Setup Considerations: Preliminary Transfer Credit.

Add External Transcripts or Add Education Test Results. Add at least 1 external transcript or education test result for the student prospect.

You can use preliminary transfer credit to see what credit a student prospect can carry over to your institution from their external student coursework and education test results. To assign preliminary transfer credit, you can:

Automatically process an external transcript or test result using the transfer credit rules that you set up.

Manually specify coursework equivalents from your institution.

You can configure Workday to display preliminary transfer credits on the:

Prospect profile.

External student site, enabling applicants to see the projected transfer credit for their educational history.

Set up transfer credit evaluations and transfer credit rules for educational institutions and education tests.

Application for Student Prospect

Recruitment for Student Prospect

Security: These domains:

(Optional) Create Applicant Home Pages.

Select the

Display Preliminary Transfer Credit Report

check box. Enter text in the

Report Heading Content

field.

Edit Domain Security Policies.

Configure user security access to these domains in the Admissions functional area:

Manage: Preliminary Transfer Credit	Enables users to: Evaluate and assign preliminary transfer credit for student prospects. Access the Preliminary Transfer Credit Troubleshooting report.
Reports: Preliminary Transfer Credit	Enables users to view the preliminary transfer credit results on the prospect profile.
Manage: Create Transfer Credit Rules and Evaluate Preliminary Transfer Credit	Enables users to: Create transfer credit rules for external courses that don't have transfer credit from a preliminary transfer credit evaluation. Evaluate the external transcript for preliminary transfer credit with the new rules.

Activate Pending Security Policy Changes.

Access the prospect profile.

Access 1 or both of these tasks on the:

Recruitment profile group for pre-applicant prospects.

Application profile group for applicants.

Workday displays the preliminary transfer credits according to the student unit type.

When you configure the applicant home page, applicants with a published decision of Admit can view their preliminary transfer credit on the external student site.
