Steps: Set Up and Calculate Cost of Attendance
Set up and calculate cost of attendance (COA) to estimate a student’s educational expenses for 1 or more academic periods in the same financial aid award year.
Unlike student charges, which represent a student's actual institutional expenses, Workday doesn't post costs to student accounts.
Workday references a student's financial aid attendance plan when it calculates their COA. If a student doesn't have a financial aid attendance plan when you calculate COA, it creates one.
