domain in the Financial Aid functional area.Each academic period, you can configure Workday to assign cost of attendance (COA) to students automatically. You can specify the date and which students to assign COA.
If a student's information changes after assigning COA, Workday reevaluates the amount according to the COA reaction policy of their academic unit or program of study.

- Enter theStart DateandEnd Datethat determine the range over which this schedule applies.
- (Optional) Enter selection criteria to specify the students for whom this schedule applies.Students must meet all of the criteria you select in order for Workday to assign them cost of attendance.As you complete the task, consider:
Option Description Entering for Academic PeriodSelect to restrict the job to only assign cost of attendance to students who are entering your institution in the award year you select for the job schedule.ISIR Review StatusWorkday assigns cost of attendance to students with this Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) review status.Federal Verification StatusWorkday assigns cost of attendance to students with this federal verification status. This status represents whether the U.S. Department of Education (ED) has verified the student's ISIR.Financial Aid Application CompleteSelect to restrict the job to only assign COA to students whose financial aid applications are complete.Registered for CoursesSelect to include students who are registered for courses.SAP Status (Last Period with Enrollment)Select to include students who had this satisfactory academic progress (SAP) status in the last academic period with course enrollment.SAP Status (Last Period with Enrollment and SAP Evaluation)Select to include students who had this SAP status in the last academic period with course enrollment and SAP evaluation.
Workday automatically evaluates each student's data and financial aid eligibility, and begins assigning COA for your selected start date. If multiple financial aid processes are in effect, Workday picks up all students who meet the selection criteria for any of the processes.

report. (Optional) Use the
Edit Cost of Attendance Job Schedule
task to broaden the selection criteria as COA needs change over time, and to make sure that all students are accounted for.
