The

    Considerations
    Check-ins
    The
    My Check-Ins
    report is available in the
    Career Hub
    .
When you set up Talent Optimization in Career Hub, employees can add check-ins to the
    Plan
    page.
For details, see Steps: Set Up Check-Ins.
    Connections
    Data from the
    My Connections
    report is available in the
    Career Hub
    as part of the combined
    Connections and Mentorships
    report.
When you set up Talent Optimization in
    Career Hub
, employees can view suggested connections on the
    Suggestions for You
    page instead of on the
    Connections and Mentorships
    report.
    For details, see Concept: Connections.
    Development items
    The
    My Development Items
    report is available in the
    Career Hub
    .
When you set up Talent Optimization in
    Career Hub
, employees can manage development items on the
    Plan
    page instead of the
    My Development Items
report, and you can enable AI-generated development items.
    Feedback
    The
    Manage Feedback
    report is available in the
    Career Hub
. Workers can access data about their own feedback on this report.

  3. (Optional) Set Up Hubs.
    Configure the
    Career Hub
    and customize its:
    • Name. If you rename the hub, it still surfaces as the Career Hub in global search. Consider adding the new name as a search synonym for Career Hub. For details, see Reference: Edit Tenant Setup - Search.
    • Announcements.
    • Suggested links. If you’re a Workday Recruiting customer, consider adding the
      Manage Job Alerts
      and
      My Referral Activity
      reports as suggested links.
    • Overview
page configuration, including cards and quick actions.
    • Navigation items.
Workday strongly discourages removing these navigation items from the hub:
    • The
      Overview
page, since it's the entry point for the hub. If you remove it from the hub, your workers can't open the hub unless they directly access one of the reports within it. Instead, customize the content of the
      Overview
page to meet your organization’s needs.
    • Pages in the
      Browse Opportunities
section, if you enable Opportunity Marketplace or Talent Optimization in the
      Career Hub
. If you remove 1 of these pages, workers can still access it by clicking
      Browse All
      on the
      Suggestions for You
page, but the navigation menu is removed from the browse page.
Security: 1 of these domains in the System functional area:
    • Set Up: Tenant Setup: Hub
    • Set Up: Tenant Setup - General
  4. Access the
Domain Security Policies for Functional Area
    report.
    Select
    Domain Security Policy
    Enable
from the related actions menu of the
Self-Service: Career Hub Talent and Performance
domain security policy in the Career and Development Planning and Career Hub functional areas.
    Security:
    Security Activation
    and
    Security Configuration
domains in the System functional area.
  5. Configure the
Self-Service: Career Hub Talent and Performance
domain in the Career and Development Planning and Career Hub functional areas to grant workers access to the Career Hub.
If you also plan to enable Opportunity Marketplace or Talent Optimization in
    Career Hub
, this domain is optional. These domains also grant workers access to the Career Hub:
    • Self-Service: Talent Optimization in Career Hub
in the Career and Development Planning and Career Hub functional areas.
    • Opportunity Marketplace in Career Hub
in the Talent Marketplace functional area.
Configure the domains for the reports and cards that you want to add to the
    Career Hub
. For details, see Reference: Career Hub Security.
  6. (Optional) Add
    Career Hub
cards to the Workday Home page to make it easier for workers to access. For details, see Steps: Set Up Workday Home.
