Concept: Question Set Dashboards
Managers and administrators can access dashboard summaries of survey results for the standard Peakon question sets. Users with multiple employee segments available in their segment context menu can view tailored question set overviews per segment.
This topic describes the sections that display in question set dashboards.
Main Scores
The main score of each question set displays at the top of each dashboard. It's possible to display your scores in
Average
or NPS
mode.- Contributing Questions: Typically 1-4 questions contribute to the main score of each question set. Click the?icon next to the main score to see the contributing questions.
- Visibility Parameters: Your organization can set visibility parameters to 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year. The current main score includes the latest answers from employees within these selected parameters, enabling trends to emerge over time.
- Visibility Window: During each survey round, the visibility window moves forward, updating the current main score for each question set.
- NPS Category: Peakon displays eNPS distributions under the main scores and places employees into categories (Example:Passiveif an overall engagement score is 8). See FAQ: How Does Peakon Calculate My Team’s Engagement Score?
Benchmarks
Your company-level results use external industry benchmarking, while segments typically benchmark against the company's main score for each question set. The difference to benchmark displays on each question set dashboard.
- Subsegments:When you view subsegments (a segment within another segment's context), Peakon benchmarks the subsegment against the main segment. SeeConcept: Benchmarking.
- True Benchmark:This feature accounts for demographic differences between segments and benchmarked areas. See Concept: True Benchmark
Score Over Time
The
Score Over Time
graph enables you to view how aggregated scores change. Graphs always compare the latest survey round (both closed and ongoing surveys) to the previous round. When there are no previous survey rounds available in your visibility period, the graph displays no rounds. The graph only displays the survey rounds that contain questions from the question set that you're viewing.
The standard view displays the survey rounds that are within the visibility period. You can view more historical scores using the
Expand
button, enabling you to:
- Set time parameters.
- For the Engagement question set, you can add the engagement outcome questions and view how the eNPS distribution changes over time.
The benchmark displays in quarterly increments, based on when Peakon updates its benchmarking data.
Participation
Question set dashboards default to displaying participation specific to that theme. This provides theme-specific analysis without the data being skewed by other survey activity.
- Question Set Participation: Displays the percentage of employees in the current context who contributed to the selected question set.
- Overall Participation: A separate figure displaying the percentage of unique employees who have answered any survey across all active schedules and question sets within the visibility window.
- Main Question Scores: You can see the number of employees who received the main question(s) from the set and how many contributed to the main score within the visibility window.
Focus Areas
Each driver within each question set represents a different element of organizational psychology and has its own distinct set of questions. Example: Health and Wellbeing drivers represent different element of your efforts to maintain a healthy workforce and have their own distinct set of questions.
When each survey round closes, Peakon determines the drivers that represent strengths for teams and suggests drivers for improvement. See Concept: Strengths and Focus Areas.
Although scores from the engagement drivers do not directly contribute to the main score of the question set, some drivers may have a larger impact on the main score than others. See FAQ: Impact Circles on Drivers.
Focus Segments
After each survey round, Peakon determines the segments that are significantly above and below benchmark. See Concept: Highlighted Segments.
Values
The engagement question set's dashboard displays aggregated responses for your organization's values questions, providing an overview of value effectiveness. See Concept: Values Questions.
Highlighted Topics
Topics group survey comments into themes, providing a comment extract and an average score for the comment theme. If Peakon highlights any of the comment topics, they display in the
Highlighted Topics
section of the dashboard. See Concept: Keyword Topics for Comments.Highlighted Comments
Peakon highlights the most important comments based on how relevant and actionable they are. See Concept: Highlighted Comments.
