Set Score Visibility Window for Leavers

Set Score Visibility Window for Leavers

Security: only members from the
Administrators
group can set visibility threshold settings.
Each driver score on Peakon is an average that consists of each employee's latest answer to the specific question. The score aggregation settings dictate how far the dashboard should search for the latest score per question, per employee.
The
Inclusion of former employees
setting enables you to reduce the visibility window for scores of employees that leave the company. Gradually removing answers of leavers protects their confidentiality and enables you to analyze separation reasons, instead of dropping their answers from the current score immediately.
The visibility window uses the separation or deletion dates of a leaver to decide whether their feedback should still contribute to the current score during each survey round. Setting a separation date ensures that the employee record is still available in case you need to make any changes to it.
We recommend setting
Inclusion of former employees
to 3 months (12 weeks), to increase the number of data points contributing to each driver. For surveying exited employees, our recommendation is to set it to 1 Year. The
<3 months before separation
segment and the separation phase of the
Employee Experience Cycle
relies on feedback from leavers.
The
Inclusion of former employees
setting is retroactive and covers the entirety of your data collection.

  2. Set
    Inclusion of former employees
    setting.
You’ve just closed a survey in June 2022. The
Aggregation period
setting is 1 year and
Inclusion of former employees
is 3 months.
An employee who left before (or during) the survey in June 2022 answered the Autonomy questions multiple times since starting their employment.
  • Autonomy core question: May 2021, August 2021, January 2022.
  • Flexibility subdriver question: December 2021, May 2022.
  • Remote Work subdriver question: March 2021.
Because the employee left in June, the survey dashboard disregards scores older than 3 months for this employee. Only the May 2022 Flexibility score counts towards the Autonomy driver score for this employee.
If the employee left after the survey finished, the visibility period for the scores of that employee would still be 1 year until the next survey starts. Gradually, with each new survey round, fewer driver scores from this employee contribute to the current score. Eventually, none of their scores contribute to the current score. Old scores from the leaver (now anonymized) remain in historical dashboards, to ensure that historical data remains as it was at the time.
Participation rate contains current employees that you surveyed in the last 1 year and the leavers who you surveyed in the last 3 months.
