Concept: AI Playbooks and Review
AI Playbooks and Review transforms contract review from a manual, reviewer-dependent task into an automated process that’s clear and predictable. It enables you to apply company-defined negotiation standards to contracts at any point in the negotiation lifecycle.
Key Components
- Playbooks: The top-level configuration that defines when and how AI review runs. Playbooks define which instructions to apply and which contract types or workflows the AI should target, as well as the order and logic used during document analysis and risk identification.
- Negotiation Requirements: Reusable, auditable instructions that tell the AI what to evaluate for specific terms, such as checking for required clauses or flagging language that deviates from a preferred position.
- Clause Library Integration: Negotiation requirements can reference Clause Library variations to anchor AI analysis to approved company language. Note that these references are currently static; updates to the Clause Library require manual updates to the Negotiation Requirements.
Access Control
Role-Based Access Control rules define the permissions to access this functionality.
- Libraries: View:Provides read-only access to Playbooks, Negotiation Requirements, and the Clause Library, once AI Playbooks is enabled.
- Libraries: Manage:Provides full create and edit access to Playbooks and Negotiation Requirements, once AI Playbooks is enabled.
- AI Review & Editing: Access: Enables users to run AI Review in workflow tickets using published Playbooks, once AI Playbooks is enabled.
