Concept: Salesforce Connector Permission Sets in Salesforce

Permission Set: Evisort Metadata Custom Field Permission

You must manually assign the Evisort Metadata Custom Field Permission permission set to all Salesforce Connector users. This assignment is required to grant the correct access to Contract Management and Document Intelligence features within Salesforce.
This permission set is dynamically updated when synchronizing Contract Management and Document Intelligence fields.
Field Permissions: Users can edit and read Contract Intelligence fields related to the Evisort__c object.

Permission Set: Evisort Admin

This permission set grants comprehensive access to the Contract Management and Document Intelligence app in Salesforce, enabling configuration, file processing, record management, and log viewing, with granular control over user actions for data security and integrity.

General Permissions
  • Access Contract Management and Document Intelligence Apex classes:
    Users can run various parts of the Contract Management and Document Intelligence code to use app features.
  • Configure Contract Management and Document Intelligence:
    Users can set up and customize the Contract Management and Document Intelligence app within their Salesforce org.
  • Send files to Contract Management and Document Intelligence:
    Users can send files from Salesforce to Contract Management and Document Intelligence for processing, such as extracting contract dates or clauses.
  • Edit Contract Management and Document Intelligence records:
    Users can change details in Contract Management and Document Intelligence records directly from Salesforce.
Specific Object Permissions
  • Full access to some objects:
    Users have complete control (create, view, edit, and delete) over objects such as Attachment__c, Evisort_Export_Filter__c, Intake_Form_Mapping__c, and Intake_Form__c.
  • Limited access to other objects:
    Users can typically create, view, and edit records for objects such as Evisort_Export_Document__c, Evisort_Export_Object__c, Evisort_Field_Definition__c, Evisort_Field_Value__c, Evisort_Ticket__c, and Evisort__c. With this permission, users might not be able to delete or see all records in the org.
  • Read-only access to logs:
    Users can view log files for troubleshooting or monitoring purposes but can’t make changes.

    Several Contract Management and Document Intelligence-related tabs are visible in Salesforce, providing easy navigation within the app.

Permission Set: Evisort User

This permission set enables users to actively use the Contract Management and Document Intelligence app in Salesforce, including sending files, managing records and tickets, and editing field values and definitions. Access to certain objects and fields is limited to prevent overarching configuration changes or viewing sensitive data.

Enforce Content Permissions

This permission ensures a consistent experience across both Salesforce and Evisort platforms by preventing users from performing actions in Salesforce that they aren’t permitted to do in Evisort.

check box in the Evisort Workspace Setting custom settings to enforce the permissions defined in the Evisort workflow.
By default, this permission is turned off to maintain existing workflows
