Concept: Dashboards Overview

Contract Management and Document Intelligence displays contract and workflow data on dashboards. Dashboards visually display contract and workflow data. You can explore contract metadata and workflow activity using charts, tables, and filters. We show only the documents and workflow tickets you have access to and removes duplicates by displaying only the first uploaded version of each document.
We deliver these dashboards:
  • Documents
: Displays contract volume and related metadata.
  • Expirations
: Shows upcoming expiration dates, renewal types, and notice periods. You can customize the date range and apply additional filters.
  • Open Tickets
: Lists active workflow tickets along with their current stages.
  • Completed Tickets
: Provides workflow metrics, including cycle time and backlog trends.
The
Open Tickets
and
Completed Tickets
dashboards require the
Workflow
feature and do not support text search or
Advanced Query Builder
.

Charts in Dashboards

You can use charts to visually summarize filtered data, helping you analyze trends and key metrics. You can create charts using supported metadata fields such as
Contract Type
,
Document Status
, and
Internal Parties
.
You can't use text fields, clause types, and folders to create charts.
Charts are interactive; when you click on a segment (example: in a pie chart), we update the data to show only the related contracts or tickets.

Filtering and Search

Dashboards enable you to filter data using metadata fields, such as date ranges,
Contract Type
, and
Internal Parties
. Contract Management and Document Intelligence supports Boolean search, and we apply all filters with AND logic by default.
For more detailed filtering, you can use the
Advanced Query Builder
to:
  • Combine filters with AND/OR logic.
  • Group filters into sections.
It allows:
  • Combining filters with AND/OR logic
  • Grouping filters into sections
Some filtering capabilities such as OR logic and nested filters are available only through the Advanced Query Builder. See Build Search Queries for more details.

Reviewing and Exporting Your Data

We display a results table that lists the contracts matching your filters on the dashboards. You can:
  • Configure the table to show any contract data fields in your preferred order.
  • Click the
    Details
link on each row to view the selected metadata.
  • Click a contract name to view the full document.
Add, delete, or reorder columns and adjust the number of rows on the table using the
Table Settings
menu. See Create Custom Views for more details.
You can also export the results to Excel with specific field and clause data that you select. You can do the same on the
Search
tab. See Export Search Results to Excel for more details.

Saved and Shared Dashboards Overview

You can save dashboards to preserve a customized view of contract and workflow data in Contract Management and Document Intelligence. Instead of reapplying filters and rearranging charts every time, you can quickly reload a saved configuration from the
Saved Dashboards
tab. Each saved dashboard retains your applied filters, chart formats, and table configurations.
Users who receive shared dashboards can access them directly from their
Saved Dashboards
view.
You can configure permissions to determine user access for dashboards. Admins can view, edit, or delete dashboards that have been shared, but cannot access dashboards marked as private.
See the article to find out how you can use your dashboard data to improve your business processes.
