Build Search Queries
You can use the Advanced Query Builder to run more complex searches, enabling you to:
Advanced Query Builder is backward compatible, so you can edit saved searches created with Contract Management and Document Intelligence's previous tool, Analyzer, directly from the Search page.
- View and search from all filters. Drag and drop chosen filters from the left panel into a filter section or move them between sections.
- Build complex search queries using logical operators such as OR and AND. Example:
- Initial Expiration Date is after todayOR
- Upcoming Expiration Date is after today AND
- Governing Law = Delaware
We don't support mixing AND/OR in the same section.
- ClickSearch.
- ClickAdd Filters.
- ClickAdvanced Query Builder.
- Drag and drop a filter into the filter bar.You can add multiple filters and operators to your query.
- Select the filter you added and set the conditions.Example: Add theRenewal Notice Datefilter. Select a date and the conditions for the date.
- (Optional) ClickAdd Section.You can add 1 or more sections of filters to use in your query.
- (Optional) Select the operators to use between sections.Example: Create 1 filter group with these conditions: Initial Expiration Date is after today OR Upcoming Expiration Date is after today AND Governing Law = Delaware.Create another filter group with these conditions: Renewal Type is blank.Select the OR operator. Contract Management and Document Intelligence searches for documents that meet either set of conditions.We don't support multiple nested sections with mixed AND/OR operators.
- ClickApply.You can useAdvanced Query Builderwith saved searches created using Contract Management and Document Intelligence’s previous complex search. Example: You can open a saved search from theSearchtab and edit it usingAdvanced Query Builder.
You can edit queries after you build them. You can also use
Advanced Query Builder
with saved searches.
