Administrator Guide

Workday delivers API activity reports that give you insight into historical drivers of high API and document-storage consumption. History begins building automatically, accruing up to 13 months of historical data over time. These reports supplement the Platform Consumption Console. See Concept: Platform Consumption Console.

Data for these reports are only displayed for US and EU customers.

Report	Description
API Activity Report - Monthly API Trends	Identifies monthly API request totals across all transports, filtered by the current user's billing ID. Metrics are calculated on the first day of each month for the preceding month. The report accumulates historical data monthly, capping at a maximum rolling window of 13 months.
API Activity Report - Top 10 API Requests	Identifies the 10 API request sources with the highest counts across all transports, filtered by the current user's billing ID. Metrics are calculated on the first day of each month for the preceding month.
API Activity Report - Top 10 IP Addresses	Identifies the 10 IP addresses with the highest request counts across all transports, filtered by the current user's billing ID. Metrics are calculated on the first day of each month for the preceding month.
API Activity Report - Top 10 API Names	Identifies the 10 APIs with the highest request counts across all transports, filtered by the current user's billing ID. Metrics are calculated on the first day of each month for the preceding month.
