You can assign registration-based fees to students in an academic unit, level, program of study, or program focus. When students register, Workday assesses the registration-based fees that apply to the students.

Academic units and programs of study can inherit registration-based fees from superior academic units. For subordinate academic units and programs of study, you can define fees to assign in addition to the inherited fees.

As you complete the task, consider:

Option	Description
Academic Unit, Academic Level	Registration-based fees apply to students at this academic unit and academic level, and to students at the same academic level of subordinate units.
Program of Study, Program Area	Registration-based fees you associate with a program of study or program area apply in addition to charge items inherited from the academic unit and level.

(Optional) To restrict the fee to students who meet certain conditions, select, or create a calculation that evaluates the student's eligibility in the

field.

Workday assigns registration-based fees to eligible students.
