FAQ: Manage Student Recruiting Regions

How do I assign an admissions counselor to a region?
  • To assign prospects in a specific region to the admissions counselor, select
    Admissions Counselor
    Manage Prospect Assignment Criteria
    from the admissions counselor's related actions menu and select from the
    Recruiting Regions
    field.
  • To assign regions to an admissions counselor for a recruiting campaign, select
    Student Recruiting Campaign
    Assign Admissions Counselors
    from the related actions menu of the campaign. Select the
    Regions
    the admissions counselor is responsible for. This enables you to report on campaign activity for the region without assigning prospects to the admissions counselor.
How do I identify a prospect's region?
View the Recruitment profile group of the prospect's profile.
How do I know if a region was assigned to a prospect manually or automatically?
View the Recruitment profile group of the prospect's profile.
How do I know which prospects don't have a region?
Users with access to the
Create Custom Report
task can create a report for this.
If I update a recruiting region, what happens to prospects already assigned to it?
Workday removes prospects who no longer meet the recruiting region's geographic criteria (including the academic unit and level).
How do I enable or revoke a user's ability to edit a recruiting region?
  1. Access the
    View Recruiting Regions
    report to find the region.
  2. Select
    Roles
    Assign Roles
    from the related actions menu for the region.
  3. Add or remove the person's role.
