Concept: Editing Recruiting Regions

You can edit a region by selecting
Region
Edit Recruiting Region
from the related actions menu of the region. Changes go into effect immediately and can affect region assignments for prospects.

Who Can Edit Recruiting Regions

Users whose role is:
  • Configured so that it's assignable to regions. (Region is selected for the role in the
    Enabled For
    field of the
    Maintain Assignable Roles
    task.)
  • In a security group that’s assigned to the
    Manage: Student Recruiting Region
    security domain with View and Modify permissions.
  • Assigned to the region to be edited. (The user is selected for the role in the
    Assigned To
    field of the
    Assign Roles
    task for the region.)

Who Can Assign Roles to Recruiting Regions

Users with a role that is:
  • Enabled for regions using the
    Maintain Assignable Roles
    task.
  • In one of the security groups listed in the
    Assigned/Reviewed by Security Groups
    field on the same task.
    If the
    Auto-Assign
    check box is also selected, Workday automatically assigns the creator's current primary position to the region in the
    Assign Regions
    grid of the
    Create Recruiting Region
    task.

Assigning a Role to a Recruiting Region

You can either:
  • Add the role to the
    Assign Roles
    tab when using the
    Create Recruiting Region
    task.
  • Select
    Roles
    Assign Roles
    from the related actions menu of a region after you create it.
