Create Search Service Definitions

Create Search Service Definitions

  • Create a recruiting campaign.
  • Security:
    Manage: Search Service Purchase
    domain in the Student Recruiting functional area.
If you acquire student prospect information from a search service, such as ACT EOS or GRE ETS, you can record basic information about the acquisition and charge the cost to a campaign. When you create student prospects, you can use the
Source
and
Source Detail
fields to identify the search service that provided the prospect information.
  1. Access the
    Create Search Service Definition
    task.
  2. As you complete the task, consider:

    Student Recruiting Campaign
    You can:
    • Charge the cost of the search service to this campaign by selecting the campaign name as a worktag when you enter expenses with Workday Expenses or Procurement.
    • Track the number of recruitments sourced to the campaign through the search service by selecting the search service in the
      Source Detail
      field of the
      Create Student Prospect
      task.
    Search Service
    These values are Workday-delivered.
    Date of Search
    The date the search service collected the prospect data.
    Search Identifier
    The unique search or purchase number provided by the vendor.
The search service is available to:
  • View with the
    Find Search Service Definition
    report or on the
    Search Services
    tab of the campaign.
  • Associate with a student prospect's recruitment record.
