FAQ: Inactivating or Removing Admissions Counselors

FAQ: Inactivating or Removing Admissions Counselors

What's the difference between inactivating and removing an admissions counselor?
Inactivating an admissions counselor temporarily suspends the person's access to recruiting and admitting tasks in Workday, but keeps the admissions counselor's history. Workday removes the admissions counselor from all recruitments and applications and updates prospect profiles. Example: Randy Flores is a guest admissions counselor who helps with local recruiting events a few months each year. You can inactivate Randy's admissions counselor role for part of the year and reactivate it when it's time for him to recruit again.
Removing an admissions counselor prevents the person from accessing recruiting and admitting tasks. You lose all previous information about the admissions counselor such as recruiting events, application pools, and assigned prospects.
Reassigning the admissions counselor role after you remove it won't restore the person's recruiting and admissions information.
