Maintain Labor Optimization Metrics

in the Labor Optimization functional area.
Labor Optimization metrics are key data points that help predict labor demand. You can configure these metrics on the
Maintain Labor Optimization Metrics
task and incorporate them into your labor mapping rules.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Labor Optimization Metrics
    task.
    As you complete the task, consider:
    Option
    Description
    Name
    Enter a unique name to identify the metric.
    ID
    The unique ID Workday generates for the metric. This ID is generated after you enter a Name and Metric Interval, then click Save. This ID is required when importing historical data. See: Steps: Import Metric Data
    Metric Interval
    Select one of these:
    • 15 minutes
    • 30 minutes
    • 60 minutes
    • Daily
    • Weekly
    Metric Start Day of Week
    This option only applies when the
    Metric Interval
    is set to
    Weekly
    . For all other metric intervals we will use the
    Start Day of Week
    on the high-level scheduling organization.
    Used by Rule?
    Indicates whether the metric is currently used by a labor mapping rule configuration.
    Used by Template?
    Indicates whether the metric is currently used by a labor mapping/scheduling organization template configuration.
    Sub-Metric
    Indicates whether the metric is currently in use as a sub-metric.
    Labor Optimization Sub-Metrics
    The sub-metrics associated with this metric.
