Workday Learning, powered by Sana is Workday's integrated learning offering that combines Workday Learning’s system of record, Learning Management, and reporting with Sana’s AI-native authoring and learner experience. The same integrated model applies whether you are adopting Workday Learning with Sana or adding this capability to an existing Workday Learning subscription.
Workday Learning and Sana Learn Responsibilities
Workday Learning and Sana Learn each handle different parts of the integrated experience:
- Workday Learning is the system of record for assignments, enrollments, learning records, reporting, and catalog operations such as course availability and offerings.
- Sana Learn supports authoring inSana Createand the in-lesson experience when learners consume Sana content.
Content Creators, Administrators, and Learners
Each group works primarily in 1 system:
- Workers with content creator access author self-paced content inSana Create, accessed from theLearning Admin Hub, and submit finished content to Workday Learning.
- Workers with Learning admin access configure Sana settings, add submit content to courses, manage availability, create offerings, enroll learners, and assign content.
- Learners discover and open courses in Workday Learning. When they start aSana Contentlesson, they consume the lesson in the Sana learning experience while Workday Learning retains course access and completion context.
