Set Up a Visa Corporate Card Feed

Set Up a Visa Corporate Card Feed

You can set up a corporate card feed to Astrada, Workday’s subprocessor, to enroll your card program to receive real-time authorizations from Visa.
  1. Set up subscription to Workday by Astrada.
This is in addition to the VCF4 file already sent to Workday, which is a prerequisite to this step.
You can set up a Visa Business Data Solutions subscription to the Workday by Astrada endpoint to bulk enroll your cards and share credit card authorization related data with Workday.
To initiate the corporate card data feed set up:
    1. Reach out to your issuing bank relationship manager.
    2. Ask them to set up a corporate card data feed to be set up to the Workday by Astrada endpoint.
    3. (Optional) Use this email template to make the request:
      To
      : Bank contact/relationship manager
      Copy
      : workdayonboarding@astrada.co
      Subject
: ACTION REQUIRED Set Up Visa Business Data Solutions (VBDS) subscription to Workday by Astrada
I’m reaching out to request the setup of a Visa corporate card data feed. This feed will be in addition to the VCF4 one currently sent to Workday.
This new feed will be leveraging the Visa Business Data Solutions APIs which is part of the Visa Commercial Platform. To set this up, please forward this email to Visa (GDLVCIPMarketplace@visa.com) and our subprocessor, Astrada (workdayonboarding@astrada.co), to configure the data feed to Workday by Astrada. For reference, here is the guide that outlines the steps Visa will guide you through.
Once the setup is finalized, please provide the related RPIC identifiers.
Thank you for your assistance in getting this configured as soon as possible. Please reach out to me or the Astrada team (copied) if you have any questions.
      Best,
      [Name]
  2. Obtain the RPIC identifiers from your bank.
Visa identifies card programs based upon 4 identifiers referred to as RPIC:
    • Region ID
    • Processor ID
    • Issuer ID
    • Company/Corporate ID
Upon enabling your data feed, the bank will share the RPIC identifiers with you to activate real-time authorizations in Workday.
  3. Set up the
    Webhooks Framework Hub
in Workday, providing a centralized location to navigate to the
    Maintain Real Time Transactions
task. This task enables you to register the RPIC identifiers and enroll your credit card program to receive real time authorizations.
  4. Register the RPIC identifiers to connect your Workday tenant to the Visa corporate card feed through Astrada, a Workday subprocessor.
