Concept: Transaction Reports

Concept: Transaction Reports

Transaction reports are similar to model reports as they only include columns. Unlike matrix reports, you can't specify what you want to see in the rows. You create transaction reports to display data associated with the Transactions module. Similar to other reports, you can:
  • Save transaction reports in folders.
  • Run these reports using different outputs.
  • Save them as a snapshot.
  • Share with others.
From a cube or standard sheet with transactions as a data source, you can view transaction details from a cell if:
  • Transaction level data associates with the account and level at the cell intersection.
  • You have the required access and permission.
Use either of these options to view the transaction details:
  • Cell Explorer
  • Drill Into Transactions
When you drill from a sheet or a report, you see the transaction details for a specific cell or intersection. To see transaction details across multiple accounts and levels, create a transaction report.
