Set Up App Connections for Notifications
- You have access to a collaboration app such as Slack or Microsoft Teams (Teams).
- Your administrator has configured your Adaptive Planning instance to integrate with the collaboration app. See Set Up Notifications Integration with Apps.
Your administrator can integrate Adaptive Planning Notifications with collaboration apps to enable you to access and manage your notifications in that app.
The integration with a collaboration app:
- Significantly enhances communication, collaboration, and efficiency.
- Creates a more connected and productive work environment.
After the administrator integrates Adaptive Planning Notifications with a collaboration app, you must complete certain steps to complete the connection.
- From the Adaptive Planning global toolbar, click theNotificationsicon.
- From theManage Notificationspage, locate the app tile in theConnectionssection. ClickConnect.You're prompted to check your messages to complete the connection.
- To connect with Slack, complete these steps:
- In Slack, underApps, clickWorkday Adaptive Planning. A "Welcome to Workday Adaptive Planning for Slack" message displays.
- Click theConnect your Adaptive Planning account to Slacklink. The Adaptive Planning sign-in page displays.
- To connect with Teams, complete these steps:
- In Teams, open the Workday Adaptive Planning app.
- Click the link in the welcome message to authenticate your account.
- Sign in to Adaptive Planning for authentication purposes. The Manage Notifications page displays either of these statuses:
- A success message indicating that you're connected to the collaboration app.
- An error message if the integration was unsuccessful. Try signing out and signing back in. Also, verify that your Slack or Teams email matches the email in your My Profile page in Adaptive Planning under Administration.
