Target Segments in Access Control Groups

You can use segment targeting to only include or exclude certain users in selected access control groups. You can edit these restrictions at any point. It's only possible to set group targeting after you've already created the group.
Example: You've enabled comment access in the standard Managers group, however the Finance business unit doesn't want to grant comment access to their managers. You can exclude the Finance segment from the Managers group, and create a custom managers group without comments, which only includes the Finance segment.
Only managers included in the targeted access control groups are granted with the permissions set up.
  1. Go to
    Administration
    Access control
    .
  2. Open the access control group that you need to target.
  3. Click
    Edit
    .
  4. Set targeting by using the
    Only including
    or
    Excluding
    settings.
  5. Click
    Save changes.
