section is only available on All employees
group types.Merging 2 segments can be useful if:
- You need to combine some departments, along with their historical data.
- The name of a team has changed, but you uploaded employee data with the new team name without renaming the segment on Peakon. The data upload created a second segment for that team, which you didn't notice for some survey rounds.
- The data file contained a typo for the segment name, creating a new segment for that team, which you didn't notice for some survey rounds.
- Go to .
- Using the left side filters, filter by the 2 segments you need to merge.
- Bulk-edit all employees, and set them all to the same segment.
- Before saving the changes, backdate the attribute value for a retroactive effect.
You need to consolidate the
Sales
and Commercial
Department segments into Sales
with retroactive effect.When filtering the employees, you need to filter by
Department
and set it to Sales
and Commercial
. Select all employees, and click Edit. Set the Department
value to Sales
. Click the small clock icon and backdate the change to the start of time.You can go into and delete the segment that you emptied, if needed.
