settings in the

section. These settings are only available on

group types.
Account administrators and users with access to manage attributes and segments are able to create, edit, and delete hierarchies. Peakon will automatically detect any relationships between attributes making the setup quick and simple.
Start by identifying which attributes you’ll include in a hierarchy. Usually, the attributes with the least number of segments are at the top of the hierarchy, gradually increasing in segment amounts the further down you go.
  1. Go to
    Administration
    Attributes
    .
  2. Open the child attribute and start creating a hierarchy.
  3. Select the parent segment and let Peakon suggest relationships.
  4. (Recommended) Select whether the hierarchy should update automatically.
You need to create a hierarchy between
Business Unit
and
Department.
It should always update automatically and stay up to date when its segments update.
Go to the
Department
attribute, start a new hierarchy, and set
Business Unit
as the parent attribute. Wait for Peakon to identify relationships, and toggle on the
Update hierarchies automatically
option.
