Workday Peakon is transitioning to a Flexible Listening Question model. Your experience depends on when your production instance was created:

Flexible Listening Question Model (Instances created on or after 31st March 2026): Questions within a driver are equal, and each standard question has a unique title. You can edit question text, question titles, and question text localizations. See Edit Question Titles for instructions on updating titles.

Existing Question Model (Instances created before 31st March 2026): You continue to use the existing model until the upgrade becomes available in the 26R2 and 27R1 release cycles. In this model, you edit the question text and standard titles.

Regardless of the model, ensure that you make edits on the specific language that the change should reflect. Peakon uses the edited version in surveys and dashboards for users who select that language.

Question sets that use external benchmarking continue to benchmark altered questions. When editing a standard question, ensure that you maintain the meaning and sentiment of the question to preserve the accuracy of the external benchmarking, and to avoid impacting how employees interpret and respond to the question. Users with global company access can edit all questions. Segment managers who manage questions can only edit questions where the main target is the segment that they manage.

You can't disable comments on questions. Peakon considers comments a core feature for gathering insight and enabling a deeper understanding of employee perspectives and experiences.

Select the question set that contains the question that you need to edit. Example: Engagement.

Click

Edit

on the question that you need to edit.

In the

Localization

section, make any necessary edits to the languages you enabled in the survey.

(Optional) Include the % placeholder where the question should use the company name or a branded segment name.

The new version of the question is effective immediately. If you make an edit during a live round, employees that already opened the survey without completing it might still see the old version due to browser cache.

Any existing comments and the dashboard of the question will contain the new wording. The change won't change any historical survey scores, because it will display as though this wording has been present the whole time.
