Survey notifications enable you to inform employees about new Workday Peakon Employee Voice (Peakon) surveys, remind them about survey deadlines, and acknowledge their feedback.

How do you want to deliver your survey notifications to your employee workspaces?	Email is the standard survey distribution method for Peakon. Employee email addresses on their employee records receive a survey email notification when you enable the option on the schedule. You can enable or disable email notifications on each schedule. Employees can unsubscribe to emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Unsubscribing opts the user out of survey notifications and reminders. You can use the Slack integration to notify employees of new surveys and send survey reminders. Slack only notifies employees with Peakon email addresses that match their Slack email addresses. Only Peakon administrators can add the Peakon app to Slack. Only the Slack administrator can add the Peakon app to your Slack workspace. Microsoft Teams also enable you to send survey notifications and reminders on employee Teams workspaces. Microsoft Teams only notify employees whose Peakon email address matches their Microsoft Teams email address. You can also send out the survey using SMS on a per-schedule basis in addition to other notification channels. SMS notifications trigger at the same time as email send-out.
How do you want to configure translations for notifications?	The language settings for your survey determines the available translations for survey notifications. All notification content, including emails, SMS messages, and future surveys, deliver in the selected language.
How do you want to notify employees who don’t have business email addresses or aren’t digitally connected to your organization?	Peakon Kiosk mode enables you to let these employees know of an upcoming survey that they can access using a Kiosk survey link and code that you can communicate to your workers. Kiosk enables you to send SMS notifications to employees who can't access business emails.
How do you want to deliver survey notifications to employees outside their workspaces?	You can set up notifications and reminders for employees through SMS messages on their personal iOS and Android devices. Employees receive a link to the survey over SMS, along with their regular email notification. They can also receive a SMS to view their employee dashboards, receive a reminder to complete the survey halfway through the survey round, and every 4 days until the round is complete.
How do you want to use the Workday Peakon Mobile App to notify employees?	You can also use the Workday Peakon Mobile App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, to complement other channels to enable you to push notifications to survey participants. When downloaded, you can enable push notifications within the app to receive new surveys alerts and survey reminders.
How do you want to communicate to employees that your organization acknowledges their survey comments?	Employees that provide feedback can receive an email notification when managers acknowledge their comments.
How do you want to notify employs in their Workday environment?	With a Workday integration, you can use People Experience cards (PEX) as a survey channel to notify employees through Workday that they have a new survey to complete. The card includes the personal survey link for the employee, which takes them directly to the survey. The cards don't remind employees about surveys that they've still to complete. The cards display as New Peakon Survey Available and continues to display until the employee completes the latest survey shared with them.
How do you want to secure your notification emails?	You can use email certificates (SMIME certificates) to sign and encrypt email messages. When you encrypt an email using an email certificate, only the recipient can decrypt and read the email. The certificate assures recipients that the email is authentic and comes from a trusted source.

Test email delivery by sending test rounds to a small group of employees.

Check that your email servers won't interfere with survey delivery from particular email addresses in your organization.

Limitations

Employees can't reply to comment acknowledgments, although they can reply when a manager starts a conversation.

Only employees with business email addresses can receive notifications about conversations.

Slack	You can download Slack for Peakon from the Slack App Directory. Slack only notifies employees with Peakon email addresses that match their Slack email addresses. Only Peakon administrators can add the Peakon app to Slack. Only the Slack administrator can add the Peakon app to your organization Slack workspace. The Slack app uses a link to redirect users to their survey page. Employees receive their Slack survey invites and reminders at the same time as email notifications. Slack uses the language that the employees configured on their Peakon profile.
Microsoft Teams	The Microsoft Teams integration enables employees to: Receive new survey notifications. Answer survey questions directly within the Teams app. Receive reminder notifications. Employees receive their Teams survey invites and reminders cards at the same time as email or through other notifications channels. Employees can set their language preference within Teams. Only users on the administrators access control group in Peakon and with Global System Administration access on Teams can set up the integration. Only employees with Peakon email addresses that match their Teams email addresses receive Teams cards.
