Troubleshooting: Close Survey Round on Launch Day

You can manually close a survey round that has started today, first by changing the survey round to a test round, then hard-closing the survey round instantly. Both actions are necessary to complete the task successfully.
Changing the survey round to a test round moves the survey round and any already collected data to the test dashboard area, completely removing it from regular dashboards for all users without affecting the visibility window.
Hard-closing the survey round provides 2 functions:
  • Prevents any further survey notifications from sending.
  • Invalidates already sent survey tokens, ensuring employees can't provide further responses.
It's not possible to retract any survey notifications that Peakon has already sent to employees, but completing these steps will invalidate them.

Steps

  1. Mark the survey as a test.
    1. Go to
      Administration
      Schedules
      .
    2. Click on the
      Activity
       tab.
    3. Find the row of the survey round that you need to mark as a test and expand it by clicking the arrow.
    4. Click
      Mark as test
      .
    5. Confirm the pop up that displays.
  2. Immediately after, hard-close the survey round.
    1. Go to
      Administration
      Schedules
      Activity
      .
    2. Click
      Include test rounds
      .
    3. Click
      Hard close round
       next to the survey that you just marked as a test.
    4. Confirm the pop up that displays.
