Concept: Tenant Mapping
Workday HCM + Peakon customers can set up tenant mapping to display Peakon data and notifications in multiple ways within Workday. This topic covers the impact of each feature and highlights the delivered Peakon-related functionalities in Workday.
Background
Tenant mapping connects Workday to Peakon and enables all Peakon-related features in Workday. These features depend on tenant mapping to work:
- Employee sentiment data in Prism.
- Belonging metrics in VIBE Index.
- Peakon cards in the Manager Insights Hub.
- PEX Card (Manager and Survey Notifications).
- Peakon Worklet.
Submit a Support case to Customer Care to request tenant mapping. Be sure to include the tenant name in your request.
Considerations
Tenant mapping supports only 1 Workday tenant at a time. You should carefully consider the approach if using these features in Workday production and want to test them in a non-production environment.
Temporary updates to tenant mapping for testing in a non-production environment are possible but could impact feature availability in production.
Tenant mapping updates are not required when testing features in a Workday Sandbox tenant, except for the PEX card. To test the PEX card in a Sandbox tenant, the
Webservice host
must be updated. For all features except the PEX card, only the tenant name needs to be configured in Peakon Backoffice. For the PEX card used for survey notifications, the
Webservice host
must also be configured.Update the tenant mapping only when no survey rounds are active, as it affects the PEX card display and data export to Pism.
Impact per Feature
This table outlines the impact of each feature when you update the tenant mapping from Workday production to a non-production tenant.
