Recalculate Dashboards

  • The segment must contain existing survey data.
Dashboards automatically recalculate at the close of each survey round to refresh focus areas, strengths, and highlighted segments based on the latest aggregated data. Recalculation also triggers new digest emails to notify managers of updated insights.
You can manually recalculate dashboards when you need to update insights between survey rounds. Example: You created a new segment and backdated it so that it contains historical data. You want the segment to immediately display focus areas and strengths that typically only appear after a round closes.
When recalculating dashboards, consider:
  • You can recalculate 3 segments per hour.
  • It is not possible to recalculate the company-level dashboard.
  • You cannot recalculate multiple segments in a single action.
  • We recommend waiting for the survey round to close for automatic recalculation rather than manually recalculating during live rounds.
  • If recalculation does not change the dashboard, verify that the survey results meet the required statistical criteria.
  1. Go to
    Administration
    Data Settings
    Focus Areas
    .
  2. In the
    Focus Areas
     section, select the segment you need to refresh.
  3. Click
    Recalculate focus areas
    .
    This action also recalculates highlighted segments for the selected area.
  4. Allow several minutes for the process to complete.
The dashboard displays updated focus areas, strengths, and highlighted segments. Managers of the recalculated segments receive a digest email with the new insights, even if a survey round is currently live.
