Concept: Manage High Comment Volumes
Comments provide context to the driver scores and help you uncover underlying issues, which can help inform your action planning.
For larger organizations and teams, managing large volumes of comments can be challenging. This topic provides suggestions how to manage a high volume of comments effectively.
Understand Trends Using Comment Topics
Peakon generates
Topics
when you collect 200 or more comments in a specific language over the last 3 months.Topics categorize your comments into common themes that Peakon identifies from your comments, enabling you to process large volumes of comments by exploring identified topics.
Peakon generates topics based on recent comments so that topic themes remain relevant to help inform your action planning efforts.
View Comments by Focus Area
Addressing the focus areas is a key part of improving team engagement. To understand the underlying issues behind a focus area, Workday Peakon Employee voice (Peakon) recommends that you:
- Click a focus area on your dashboard.
- Scroll down to view highlighted comments associated with the driver you selected.
- Click the comments link below highlighted comments to open a filtered page displaying all comments for that particular driver.
- Add actions to address any issues raised.
Review Highlighted Comments
Peakon identifies these comments as useful because they:
- Are direct advice, containing words such ascouldorshould.
- Contain extreme scores for the question associated with the comment.
- Contain around 140 characters, which typically makes for a more useful comment.
- Are particularly useful when dealing with large volumes of comments. Example: A manager or admin member with access to all segment data or to large segments of employees.
Filtering and Sorting Options
Filtering, sorting, and search options enable you to group comments together in a way that can help you manage large volumes of comments.
You can filter by:
- Question set
- NPS category
- Interactions
- Acknowledgments
- Round end date
You can also sort by score, date, and highlighted comments.
Delegating Comments by Specialist Access
Delegating question set or driver access to specialist users can help you spread out responsibility in managing comments, and ensure they reach the relevant experts in the company.
Examples can include:
- The Facilities director with access to the Environment driver within the Engagement question set.
- The Diversity & Inclusion Consultant with access to the Diversity & Inclusion question set.
