With this update, Workday HiredScore enhances the job requisition parser used to extract job qualifications. This improves the quality of qualification sentence extraction and enrichment used by the Spotlight Fit and Gap feature, while continuing to extract structured qualifications (such as years of experience and education requirements) at the same level of quality as before.

By extracting and enriching qualification sentences with higher quality, Spotlight can better assess whether candidates meet role requirements and provide more dependable grading and insights.

These changes enhance the job requisition parser so that extracted qualification text from the job description is further categorized:

Qualification type:
Required or preferred.
Qualification section:
Such as experience, skills, education, physical, travel.
Whether or not the qualification is screenable:
Can be evaluated with the information on a typical resume at the time of screening.

Workday HiredScore uses this metadata to scope the qualifications for grading with the enhanced Spotlight algorithm (planned for a future release).
