Workday HiredScore Candidate and Job Application Purge Sync

With this release, we introduce a new integration capability that automatically synchronizes the purging of candidate and job application data between Workday and HiredScore. When you execute a data purge in Workday, HiredScore is now notified of the purged instances, ensuring your recruiting data remains securely aligned and up-to-date across both systems.

Business Benefit

This enhancement streamlines data lifecycle management and supports data privacy and compliance by removing the need to manually update HiredScore after purging records in Workday. By automatically batching large purges (over 10,000 instances) and retrying purges in the event of connectivity issues, Workday ensures reliable data synchronization without placing an additional burden on your HR and IT teams.

We add a new

Notify HiredScore of Workday Purge

check box on the

Edit Tenant Setup - Recruiting

task. When this option is enabled, Workday sends a notification to HiredScore when candidates or job applications are purged. This removes the need for manual HiredScore record deletions.

We updated the data purge job framework in Workday to execute an integration call as the final step in the purge process.

After HiredScore completes the purge, the integration now triggers a controlled re-export from Workday when applicable. This helps ensure HiredScore reflects the data that remains valid in Workday after the purge event.

Setup Effort: What Do I Need to Do?

The new Notify HiredScore of Workday Purge check box is automatically available in your tenant. To enable the integration opt-in setting:

Select the

Notify HiredScore of Workday Purge

check box to enable the purge notification by Workday to HiredScore.

Save your changes.

What Happens If I Do Nothing?

If you don’t enable this setting, your current purge process remains unchanged. Workday won’t send a notification to HiredScore when candidates or job applications are purged, which means you must continue managing HiredScore record deletions manually to maintain data compliance.
