Example: Filter Service Contracts by Renewal Notice Dates

This example illustrates how to use the Query Builder on the Expirations dashboard to find service contracts with upcoming renewal notice dates in the next 1 year.
You want to identify service contracts that have upcoming renewal notice dates within the next 1 year to proactively manage vendor relationships and avoid automatic renewals.
  • Enable access to dashboards.
  • Upload service contracts with renewal notice dates.
  • Verify data is available for the relevant time periods.
  • Link contract data to the dashboard.
  1. Click
    Dashboards
    .
  2. Click the
    Expirations
    tab.
  3. Click
    Edit Query
    .
    We automatically populate the advanced queries with
    Upcoming Expiration Date in the next 1 year
    and
    Renewal Notice Date in the next 1 year
    filters.
  4. Click
    Add Section
    .
  5. From the
    General Information
    section, drag and drop
    Contract Type
    to the newly added section.
  6. On the
    Contract Type
    filter, select
    Contains any of
    and
    Services Agreement
    .
  7. Click
    Apply
    .
We now display only service contracts with upcoming renewal notice dates on the Expirations dashboard, allowing you to focus on relevant agreements for your vendor management.
