Merge Two Consolidated Candidate Records

Merge Two Consolidated Candidate Records

You must have these permissions:
  • consolidatedcandidate.read
  • consolidatedcandidate.update
VNDLY automatically sorts consolidated candidate groupings using a matching algorithm. You may find two separate consolidated candidate records that represent the same person and want to join them into a single record.
  1. From the header,
    People
    Consolidated Candidates
    .
  2. Open the record you want to absorb.
  3. Under
    Candidate Records
    , select all candidate records.
If there is only one candidate record, click
    Move
    .
If there are multiple candidate records, check the box for each candidate record or click
    Select All [X] Candidate Records
    . Then click
    Move Candidate(s)
    .
  4. In the
Search Consolidated Candidate Record To Move To
field, locate the consolidated candidate record you want to move these records to.
  5. Click
    Move
    .
All profiles are moved to the destination. The empty source record is retired and all history is preserved in the destination record's activity log.
Charlie Candidate has also been applied to roles under Charles. Because of this, a consolidated candidate record exists for both Charlie and Charles. You can use the
Move
action to move Charlie Candidate's record to the existing Charles Candidate record. The Charlie Candidate records will not exist once all individual records are moved.
