Reference: Registration Policy Dates
Workday enables registration policies to have different effective dates. This table helps you understand the effective date for each policy.

Course Attempt Limit | The declare date of the student's primary program of study. |
Enrollment Access and Grading | For course sections within a fixed academic period, Workday uses the start date of the course section.

Enrollment Unit Limit | The academic period start date. For overall period overrides, Workday bases the effective date on the start date of a standard academic period. The standard academic period is determined by the Period Type you select for the policy. |
Course Waitlist | The effective date of the latest current policy. |
Load Status Rule Set | The effective date of the latest current policy. |
Course Unit Type | The start date of the course section. |
Student Unit Type | The start date of the course section. |
