Concept: Scheduled Assessments
You can use scheduled assessments to track course assessments that occur outside of the meeting pattern established for the course section.
Before you create scheduled assessments, create:
- Course sections. See Create Course Sections.
- Instructional locations. See Create Instructional Locations
- Assessment types using theMaintain Course Assessment Typestask. Example: Midterm, Final.
To define scheduled assessments for a course section, use the
Maintain Scheduled Assessments
task, secured to the Manage: Section Data
domain in the Student Records functional area.You can view the scheduled assessments for a course section on the Overview profile group of the course section profile.
To edit a scheduled assessment, select from the related actions menu of the course section.
To delete a course assessment type for a course section, use the
Delete Course Assessment Type
task, secured to the Set Up: Curriculum Management
in the Student Records functional area.
