Concept: Special Student Populations
You can identify, track, and act on special populations, such as international students,
in Workday. These populations are a special type of student cohort.
Tracking special populations in Workday enables you to:
- Improve individual student experience.
- Ensure student success.
- Meet regulatory requirements.
You can:
- Use current data and analytics to gain valuable insights.
- Recruit a diverse student population based on insights you gather.
- Identify the needs of special student populations.
- Assign special advisor roles along with traditional ones to special student populations, such as Coach or Designated School Official (DSO).
- Create special programs and policies for supporting student success.
- Identify successful students and their characteristics to project future success.
