Steps: Designate International Students
You can define the criteria for an international student in your institution when the student:
- Has a Citizenship Status for a country other than the United States.
- Doesn’t have a Citizenship Status for the United States.
The default country for citizenship in Workday is the United States. If your institution is outside the United States, you can create your own condition rules to define what constitutes an international student.
- Configure theManage: Immigration Statusdomain in the Student Core functional area.The domain enables you to view the International profile group of a student's profile.See Edit Domain Security Policies.
- Access theCreate Student Condition Ruletask.Create condition rules for designating international students.Security: Set Up: Student Eligibility Rules in the Academic Advising functional area.
- Access theConfigure International Student Logictask.Select or create condition rules.Select an effective date for each rule. TheEffective Datecontrols which version of the condition rule is available on a given date.Security:Set Up: International Studentsdomain in the Student Core functional area.
Students defined as International display on the International profile group of the student's profile.
