Concept: People Experience for Workday Student
People Experience provides users with a central place to engage with institutional information
through features such as Home page cards. Each user has a customized experience through
information displayed when they need it.
Home Page
The People Experience Home page displays relevant, timely information to users through content
such as announcements, cards, and worklets. You can customize what content displays
for users based on security permissions.
Enterprise Search
People Experience uses a simplified search called Workday Federated Search that enables users
to find information that's most relevant for them. Workday automatically displays
these saved categories:
- Articles
- People
- Tasks and Reports
Users can:
- Enter full sentence questions into global search, and Workday displays relevant articles as results.
- Decide which categories they're most interested in and display them first in theCategoriessection of their search results.
Workday displays a
Suggested Result
section to display the most
relevant results, powered by Workday Assistant.Users can also use the
Change Preferences
task to select
between the Classic Workday Search
experience or the New Workday Federated
Search
experience.
