Reference: Merge Rules for Financial Aid

When you merge source and target records, consider how Workday merges data fields for Financial Aid.

NSLDS Override	Yes	Yes	Custom Processing	Workday moves functionally unique overrides to the target. Two NSLDS overrides are functionally equivalent if they’re both the latest override for their respective student. When you unmerge records, Workday restores the adverse NSLDS holds to the target and source records. If the NSLDS holds have been resolved on the merged record and you unmerge it, you must resolve the holds again on each record.
