Creating Calculations
Workday delivers calculations that
help you estimate eligibility and amounts for federal awards, such as Federal Pell
Grants or Federal Direct Loans. You can also create your own calculations. Workday does
not certify or guarantee that these calculations meet federal requirements. You should
always validate any calculations to ensure they comply with federal requirements.
Workday provides tasks, such as

for creating calculations specific to your institution. We provide these calculation categories for Workday Student:

report on the Absence
profile group of the Tenant Analyzer
to verify calculations against Workday recommendations. You can drill down on the number to view and resolve exceptions. Workday-Provided Calculations for Financial Aid
Workday provides calculations for:
- Pell Grant awards.
- Undergraduate Federal Direct Loan awards.
- TEACH Grants.
